A Happy New Year on Social Media!

As well as throughout the Christmas period, January 1 is a date that everyone loves to celebrate on social media. And like each New Year, brands take to the social platforms to celebrate 2016.

Check out a collection of the best #HappyNewYear social content.

Champagne shower

New Year’s Eve is the perfect occasion to open a bottle of Champagne and a sport that is very familiar with that is Formula 1. It had no problem reminding the world of that either. However, it wasn’t the only sport that did it well.

A new year to take all the “risks”

Citroën came up with some really good content to see in the New Year, featuring its pilot Jose Maria Lopez.

A hangover to avoid…

With the champagne came the hangovers and some brands chose to focus on this inevitable characteristic of the event. Some dwelled on it while others like Aldi gave us a solution.

Don’t worry, the leftovers weren’t ‘left out’, making for a great New Year’s Day!

A Happy New Year from the Sporting World

Sports teams and athletes around the world joined the party to wish fans a Happy New Year. The Denver Broncos’ squad put out this video and decathlete Ashton Eaton shared his first jump of 2016.

At the same time, Novak Djokovic’s New Year’s Eve party showed the Serb’s very well-known humourous side. No wonder he’s popular…

Star Wars continue to break records

After breaking records in the box office, Star Wars registered one of the biggest social posts of the event with this Happy New Year message. Is there anything they can’t do?
